Support for Families with Critically Ill Infants and Babies.
When parents are faced with a serious illness, cancer, premature birth, or a rare disease in their child, they try to do everything they can to save their child. However, the stress of caregiving, traveling to and from medical facilities, and the huge cost of medical care can be too much for families to bear. Often, the more effective but more expensive medical treatments can’t be the option for the family. Christian Salvation Service’s mission is to support and assist the weak and needy. For those families in need living in Taipei City and New Taipei City area we are here to help. Christian Salvation Service provides a subsidy of up to NT$30,000 per year for each child under 6 who is diagnosed as having a serious illness, cancer, premature birth, or rare disease, and who meets the requirements of a vulnerable family. It is our hope that the subsidy will help to alleviate the financial burden on families in these challenging situations and that the children can receive appropriate medical care. Families needing this support can contact us directly or seek for hospital social services’ referral.
